News The BIC holds not one, not two, but three networking events
If you're a fan of The Mussel Club, you'll most definitely be familiar with The BIC! They are the incredible hosts of our breakfast networking event on the first Friday of every month, offering incredible business opportunities and delicious breakfast snacks.
The Mussel Club's networking event is only ONE of three that The BIC holds on a monthly basis, which is really quite impressive. Alongside The Mussel Club, they also hold events for Chamber Local, and on occasion, Heels Network.
Did you know that 85% of jobs are filled through networking, and nearly 100% of people value face-to-face meetings for long-term business relationships? With the networking events held at The BIC, you and your business will be offered many wonderful opportunities, and it’s also the perfect place to obtain industry advice that you would otherwise not have access to.
The BIC is an active member of the European BIC Network and the only of its kind in the region, making it the ultimate location for all networking events. The BIC aim to create and develop innovative businesses by offering a range of support services in line with a professional, cost-effective structure. They allow businesses to connect in the most effective way possible.
The BIC can be found on the banks of Sunderland’s River Wear. The bustling building is a business park that spans some 14 acres, offering flexible and affordable industrial lab and office space, as well as excellent meeting and conference facilities.
The BIC runs these networking events for free, making them even more desirable. The next Chamber Local event will be held on February 20th, from 08:30 - 10:00. Although you do have to be a member of the North East England Chamber of Commerce to enjoy the longterm pleasures, they do welcome non-member businesses to attend one initial meeting!
The Mussel Club's relationship with The BIC continues to thrive after a recent partnership. Our next breakfast networking event will be held in the building on the 8th of March, and some tickets are still available so reserve your place here:
